Sweet Fennel
In Western and Eastern Herbalism Sweet Fennel is considered good for obstructions of the liver, spleen, and gallbladder, and for digestive complaints such as colic, indigestion, nausea, and flatulence.
Sweet Fennel has a very sweet, earthy, and slightly peppery scent.
Sweet Fennel blends well with Geranium, Lavender, Rose, and Sandalwood Essential Oils.
Recipe for a Colicky baby:
One teaspoon of Organic Sweet Almond, Jojoba, Olive, or Hazelnut Oil
One to two drops of Sweet Fennel Essential Oil
(Blended to be used as massage oil to be used on your baby's feet or as a massage oil or to be added to a bath.)
Test a small amount of this blend on the baby's skin before using.
* Sweet Fennel should not be used during pregnancy.
