Neroli Essential Oil, Natural Source

Citrus aurantium from France - steam distilled, Natural Source - from the flowers.

• Therapeutic grade • Top note • Beautiful, uplifting flora aroma with light citrus note
• Aromatherapy use: This is a fine therapeutic grade Neroli (bitter orange blossom) oil. It has been traditionally used to uplift the spirit, relieve depression, and soothe hysteria and shock by imparting a sense of peace - we have found Neroli need be 'well rounded' to impart these peaceful qualities, and this Neroli is well suited. is a valued ingredient in many natural perfumes and blends well with a wide variety of essential oils, with its sweet, floral aroma adding an intriguing top note to aromatic creations. Neroli is a fragile essential oil, and should be kept sealed in a cool environment.

Niaouli Essential Oil - Wildcrafted

Melaleuca quinquenervia from Spain - steam distilled, wildcrafted - from the leaves.

• Aromatherapy use: Niaouli essential oil (also known as MQV) is, according to Dr. Kurt Schnaubelt, the most important anti-allergenic essential oil in aromatherapy. Niaouli is a powerful antibacterial and antiseptic; is is valuable for general skin problems, and can be used undiluted without risk. Niaouli can stimulate the defense mechanisms of the body - 5 to 20 drops can be rubbed into the skin over the whole body after a morning shower to promote this effect. It can also be used to cleanse the mouth, throat and teeth.

Orange Oil, Sweet, Wild

Citrus sinensis from the Dominican Republic - cold pressed, wildcrafted, from the peels of ripe fruit.

• Therapeutic grade • Top note • Lively, sweet aroma of fresh, ripe oranges
• Aromatherapy use: Sweet orange is a balanced uplifting and calming essential oil, like many of the citrus varieties. Orange may be more calming because of it's sweetness - whereas Lemon may be more stimulating. The aroma will almost certainly bring a smile to one's face, and may be accompanied by a pleasant feeling of joy. Should not be used on skin that will be exposed to sunlight, as it will make the skin more sensitive to UV radiation.

Oregano Essential Oil, Organic

Origanum vulgare from Turkey - steam distilled, organic, from the leaves.

• Aromatherapy use: Oregano is one of the most potent antibacterials. It is a very powerful oil, and if applied to the skin at all, it should be very dilute. Oregano is said to have a beneficial effect on respiratory, digestive, and nervous conditions. Even one drop in a glass of water for a mouthwash is pretty spicy. It also reportedly has a beneficial effect on migraine headaches. Can be used in culinary creations, too.

Peppermint Essential Oil, Organic

Mentha piperita from the India - steam distilled, organic, from the leaves and tops.

• Therapeutic grade • Base note • Bright, fresh, distinctly minty
• Aromatherapy use: Peppermint is a true eye opener. It is included in many invigorating massage blends to both improve blood flow and to awaken the mind. It has Analgesic, antiseptic, antibacterial, astringent, decongestant, and stimulant properties. It is an excellent aid for motion sickness - consuming one drop can end queasiness - a drop can be placed on a sugar cube for children. It can be used in a diffuser to bring alertness, and can also be used in culinary creations. It does have a high menthol content - care should be taken in applying it to the skin - it will burn sensitive areas.

Petitgrain Essential Oil, Organic

Citrus aurantium from Italy- steam distilled, organic, from the leaves and twigs.

• Therapeutic grade • Top note • Lightly floral, citrusy, with woody undertone
• Aromatherapy use: Petitgrain, once distilled from unripened, tiny bitter oranges - or 'little grains' - is now distilled from the leaves and twigs of the same plant that produces Bergamot and Neroli. This underused oil is a fantastic substitute for neroli, having nearly the same aroma and energetics at a much lower cost. It's aroma will bring peace and calm, valuable for helping one relax and sleep. It is not photosensitizing like the citrus oils.

Pine Essential Oil, Organic

Pinus kessia from Madagascar - steam distilled, organic, from the needles.

• Therapeutic grade • Top to middle note • Fresh, earthy, lightly balsamic
• Aromatherapy use: Pine, like many of the 'needle' oils, is stimulating. This particular species has a pleasant aroma without a hint of 'turpentine' which can be found in lower quality varieties. Pine and Spruce together can be used for regenerating the adrenal glands at a 10% dilution in Hazelnut oil, and rubbed into the kidney region. Pine is also excellent for use in a diffuser - alone or with other needle oils - to liven any atmosphere.
