This is one of those oils that will get better with age, like sandalwood. We've had fresh distillations that were a little sharp, which mellowed out over time.

Brandon is a great fan of the oil, and uses it regularly -- drop him a line at information@anandaapothecary.com, addressed directly to him, and I'm sure he'd love to share his experience. I believe he finds it quite grounding and centering, bringing him back to earth when things get hectic. He'll apply a drop to the wrists or to the third eye.

Yes, I think the Palo Santo would combine nicely with the Frankincense. They're in the same 'family'...I think you'll have a nice blend with those oils -- I'd be very interested (as would the forum readers) in what you come up with for ratios in your recipe
