 Diffusing oils from a humidifier
Hi,
I'm new to trying aromatherapy, and I was wondering if adding a few drops to a humidifier will work in dispensing the oils throughout a small area? Will a cold humidifier work or only one that uses warm air?

Hi,
Yes, absolutely, this is actually what an 'ultrasonic' diffuser does. No need for warm air...you should be able to smell the aroma, of course.
Cheers!

Hi ~ no, you just pure essential oils added to the water of the diffuser. Tween is for making aromatherapy sprays, where the oil and water do need to mix. In the diffuser, the oils will float on top of the water, but become part of the mist as it is made.
