To post in the forums, we request if you would create an account first by registering a username and password - it's really simple, and gives you greater access to use all the forums features. Thank you!
I had written otherwise earlier -- that it was our ONLY option for allowing registration, so we went with it. Now we've decided to take it down (it's only been up a few days) and either wait until Yahoo provides a realistic option for those who have completely custom stores (such as ourselves) or we move to a new platform (which is on the to do list). The issue is we have no way of directly interfacing with customer data -- to create scripts interacting with Yahoo Stores' databases. So we can't use many of the scripts that are out there that do this.
So coming in the near future will be a more standard means of account creation and personal data access.
