Discussion of the diffusion of oils, diffuser styles and their uses, which oils you can use for different results and more

Hi. I've been researching types of diffusers, and so far I have found that nebulizing diffusers are the best. However, I have read in Valerie Worwood's book that diffusers are not good for children because the concentration of oil particles in the air is too potent for them. Is there a diffuser type that is best for children for use in their bedroom? Is it ok to use a nebulizing diffuser in the general areas of the house (living room/kitchen area) while children are playing? Thanks.
Hi - The nebulizing diffuser is just fine for use with children...simply use a timer (a digital one, as available on our site) and run the unit for the minimum amount of time to reach your desired aroma strength...This can be for as little as 1 minute every hour.
The other factor to consider when diffusing oils around children is the type of oil being diffused. Several oils are not recommended for children under 2 with additional oils that have cautions for children under 10.
