Pressure/Bed Sores

Post by Martha » Thu Apr 10, 2014 6:14 pm

What oils have been successful in treating/healing pressure sores. Procedure used? My sister is paralyzed from the waist down and is continually getting terrible pressure/bed sores on her bottom and hip area. She has had several flap surgeries on sores, but she always gets new sores. These sores are ruining her life. I will be grateful for any help.

Hi Martha. Sorry to hear about your sister.

You might try a blend including some of these: frankincense, German chamomile, lavender and geranium, in calendula-infused carrier oil. Apply the mixture very gently to affected areas, using a non-stick gauze pad or something silmilar.

Hope this helps.
