I recently came across an interesting article by Robert Tisserand about a few essential oils you should not apply to cats.

Pennyroyal and Tea Tree rank up there on the "lethal" scale, for anyone considering these as an anti-flea remedy.

Yes, cat's have livers which are very different than ours, and can process much fewer chemical compounds safely. There's a good site with lots of information too at thelavendercat.com
