Rose hip essential oil

Post by blissontherange » Thu Dec 15, 2011 5:49 pm

I have had extremely good success using rosehip oil neat on psoriasis, followed by a Vit E oil salve. I also had success using it on a mole which was bothering me. I am wondering what uses others have had success with?

Hi,

Rosehip is an excellent healer ~ There are several carrier oils and essential oils which may be supportive.

Carrier oils known for their anti-inflammatory action include Tamanu, Evening Primrose, Borage, Hemp, Kukui and Coconut oils. You can find these blended in our Super Skin Care base.

Essential oils which are known for their soothing-skin action include German Chamomile, Lavender, Helichrysum, and Sea Buckthorn (among many).

We've had customers really appreciate our Soothing Skin Extra blend for just such the application you're mentioning. Want to make it yourself? Try this:

Make one (or more) ounces of base oil using 1/4 Tamanu and 3/4 Kukui oils - OR, 1 ounce of our Super Skin Care base.

To each ounce of base oil, add:
12 drops German Chamomile (steam or CO2)
12 drops Helichrysum (Balkan or Corsican)
12 drops of any of our Lavenders (Bulgarian is an excellent choice here)

Enjoy!

Rosehip works great here too. I use kukui oil & coconut oil as supportive.
