I'm a bit confused. Is pine (pinus sylvestris) essential oil another term for turpentine? from what I understand Juniper is sometimes used in place of turpentine as well.

Hi - 'turpentine' and 'turpenes' are totally different. Pinus sylvestris is an incredible anti-viral essential oil, and, unlike turpentine, you won't poison yourself with it!
