Cypress for Connective Tissues?

Post by Ang » Sat May 24, 2014 4:25 pm

My son and I both have a connective tissue disorder- Marfan Syndrome. It results from a mutation to one of our genes and results in all of our connective tissues being much weaker than the normal. Someone recently told me they had heard that cypress essential oil could help strengthen our connective tissues. Wondering if anyone knows anything about that or could point me in the right direction to find out?

Hi,

As the owner of the company, I haven't heard about Cypress being good for this - it will act as an anti-inflammatory - however, what may work is Helichrysum. It contains the highest amount of 'di-ketones' of any essential oil, renown for its regenerative capability (as well as its anti-inflammatory action).

Hope this helps!
