Balanitis Treatment

For example, how do you figure out a 3% concentration of your essential oil in 29 milliliters of carrier oil?
Any and all questions by those needing a little help, and sharing by those who've been there :)

Hi SuerlyPreorie,

Eric (he Site Administrator) answered your original post in another forum. You must have missed it. I copied his answer below for your reference:

"Ouch. Coconut oil & Tamanu oil 50:50 base, with 1-5% Helichrysum, Cape (2%) or German Chamomile CO2 (>1%) and Lavender (1-2%). Just a suggestion; start with a lower amount of Helichrysum and add more if tolerable -- the notes on the web suggest that there are several causes, and each might need a different treatment. Very similar, already in a blend is Soothing Skin Extra...probably the simplest way to give anti-inflammatory essential oils a try. Success may depend on the cause of the condition, and if the oils are to work, fairly regular application (2-3x per day...not a lot, just enough to cover the painful areas - oils are absorbed and processed fairly fast, so a little, more frequently, is best.

Hope this helps!
