Five very highly-regarded immune system supporting oils in one formula.

Many essential oils are known to have anti-viral and anti-microbial effects. At the same time, these oils may enhance the strength of the immune system through subtle 'tuning' -- by changing membrane potentials and increasing messenger receptor activity are two ways science has uncovered.

Melissa (Lemon Balm) has been the subject of a great many studies in Europe for its antiviral effects, and melissa extracts have been prepared in many nutriceutical herbal formulas. Its also considered one of the most uplifting aromatics, an action that can be very enhancing to the immune system. Hyssop decumbens is also considered strongly anti-viral, with very diverse physiologic activity. Hyssop has one of the most complex profiles known in therapeutic essential oils, consisting of 7 of the 9 major molecular classes. Rosemary c.t. verbenone contains anti-viral ketones (i.e. Verbenone), and cineol, also long used to relieve breathing congestion and stimulate immune function. Thyme c.t. linalool is also a very complex antimicrobial; Thyme essential oil was recently studied for the synergistic antibiotic action of its natural individual constituents. Ravensara, often prescribed for bronchial infections, shares many therapeutic actions with Eucalpytus. It is thought to be an even more effective anti-viral essential oil.

Together, these oils may synergize to keep your immune system functioning optimally, even under challenging conditions.
