Stewardship

We're moving at the pace of what can actually be sustained. We think it's a smarter way to do business.

There's no debt driving this. No urgency pushing us to scale faster than makes sense.  No pressure to grow beyond what we can do well. Each phase makes the next one possible: from curating the legacy archive to the subsequent releases, and mindfully, gradually, re-instating the standard of what The Ananda  Apothecary™ was founded upon.

Nothing here will be rushed.

Our Logic Is Methodical

We're reopening in phases.

The first phase is bringing back the archive—nearly twenty years of work that documents the sourcing philosophy, methods, formulations, and research that shaped The Ananda  Apothecary™ from the beginning. We're curating this gradually, and it'll be sustained by the people who find it useful.

The first micro-batch release debuts March 2026. It's small, and feels right for where we are.  It may not satisfy everyone. We know change is hard, and expectations were forged over Ananda's tenure, however our sabbatical fulfilled its purpose, and naturally, a return is far from a 'do-over'.

The 2026 debut cabinet largely comes from the Ananda estate reserves—oils Eric selected years ago under the original standards and of which have been stored carefully over time. Some unique only to The Ananda  Apothecary™. The March 2026 Seasonal Cabinet includes some legacy formulations. A few are new. All reflect the same approach Eric instilled and believed in. This method of execution is the stewardship.

When this season's cabinet closes, we can't just restock it. To understand why and how this Seasonal Cabinet Model works take a look at:
How The Seasonal Cabinet Works.

This approach honors the land, the plants, the formulations, and the people who use them. It keeps things honest and lets us work at a human pace. Not many companies would choose to operate this way, but it feels right to us—and we think it honors what Eric always valued about this work. The relocation to rural Occitanie has had a significant impact on our perspectives with the land and farming. We understand not only the culture of agriculture, but we've witnessed and experienced grows by immersion. That is the difference.

If this concept resonates with you, we are genuinely glad to have you here, as partners in a sense-- as we figure this out together and make it work.
