Safety & Responsible Use
The Ananda Apothecary™ provides botanical materials intended for aromatherapy, personal wellness practices, and educational exploration. Essential oils and botanical extracts are highly concentrated plant materials and must be used responsibly.
Essential oils should generally be diluted before topical application. Always perform a patch test prior to use.

General Safety Guidelines
- Essential oils and The Ananda Apothecary™ products are not a substitute for professional medical care.
- Products should not be used on animals without the guidance of a veterinarian and an experienced aromatherapist.
- Avoid direct contact with the eyes or sensitive tissues.
- Essential oils should generally be diluted before topical use.
- Always perform a patch test before topical application, especially if you have sensitive skin.
- Essential oils may irritate the skin in some individuals.
- Overexposure through diffusion or inhalation may cause dizziness, headache, or lightheadedness.
- Products should be stored securely and kept out of reach of children.
Internal Use
The Ananda Apothecary™ does not recommend internal consumption of essential oils unless under the supervision of a qualified professional trained in clinical aromatherapy. Any internal use of products is undertaken solely at the discretion and responsibility of the user.
Storage
Essential oils should be stored in tightly sealed containers away from heat, light, and excessive air exposure. Proper storage helps preserve stability and aromatic integrity.
Natural Variation
Essential oils are natural botanical products. Variations in aroma, color, or viscosity may occur between harvests or distillation batches due to climate conditions, seasonal changes, and natural plant chemistry. These variations are normal and do not indicate a defect.
Minor changes in viscosity or aroma caused by temperature shifts during shipping are normal and do not affect product integrity.
