Researchers evaluated Frankincense (Boswellia carterii) and Myrrh (Commiphora myrrha) essential oils individually and as a combined preparation across multiple human cancer cell lines. The study found biological activity in laboratory models but did not demonstrate a clear synergistic effect from combining the two oils.
