Lumière Composée is Ananda’s first natural perfume extrait: green botanicals, conifers, woods and resins, matured for four years before bottling.

As with every oil we carry, we judged it first by its scent. We shared it with friends who were helping us, men and women, two of whom had never tried our products, and told them nothing about it. Their answer was the same: they would wear it. That is how we knew it was a fragrance for anyone.

The Maturation

Lumière Composée was blended in 2021 and left untouched through 2025. Nothing was added to it and nothing was adjusted; the materials were simply given time to settle and integrate.

Resting a blend after it is composed is an old practice in perfumery. Time completes what the blending began, and this edition belongs to these materials, in these proportions, after that long rest. It will not be made again.

The Character

Lumière Composée is clean-lined and deliberate, with no single material leading. It wears quietly and evenly, and it holds together from the first drop to the last trace on the skin.

On the Skin

Opening
Clear and green.

Development
The conifers come forward as the opening fades.

Dry-Down
Resin and wood, warm and lasting.

Sillage
Close.

Longevity
Extended; wear varies with skin and the amount applied.

Application

Apply 1–2 drops to pulse points: inner wrists, behind the ears, or over the sternum.

This is a concentrated extrait, so begin with a little and let it warm on the skin before adding more.

Care & Use

• For external use only.
• Apply sparingly to intact skin. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
• Lumière Composée is undiluted. Patch test before first use, even if your skin has not previously been sensitive or reactive. Bay Laurel and the conifer oils (Cypress, Siberian Fir and Balsam Fir) can cause skin sensitization in some people, and conifer oils become more likely to do so as they oxidize. Skin sensitivities and allergies can develop or change over time, including after years of uneventful use. Discontinue use if irritation or sensitivity occurs.
• Safety of the finished fragrance during pregnancy, breastfeeding and use in children has not been established. Seek qualified guidance before use in these groups.
• Store tightly closed in a cool, dark place away from heat and direct sunlight.

Natural materials vary from harvest to harvest; small differences in aroma, color, and viscosity are normal.
