The Ananda Legacy Archive
Nearly two decades of essential oil research, formulation work, and aromatic evaluation — developed before 2020, built one careful layer at a time.
This archive is not a blog. It's a body of work: the sourcing standards, distiller relationships, testing methods, and botanical intelligence that shaped everything Ananda Apothecary™ became. It includes original research reviews, field notes, and formulation records spanning the full arc of Eric Cêch's practice.
It is also large. Curating it responsibly takes time, and we're doing it with intention rather than speed.
What's available now is being published gradually through our Substack community, The Remembered Remedy™.
Some pieces appear exactly as originally written — original dates, original language — so the historical record stays intact. Others are being updated with contemporary context where it's useful.
This is the living edge of the archive while full restoration continues.

If you've been here since the beginning: Ananda Apothecary™ is not returning to what it was. It's stewarding the legacy — and restoring the standards that made the work matter in the first place.
