This is new territory for us.

Ananda has always been a science house. Therapeutic formulation, functional blends, clinical integrity. Perfumery is a different discipline entirely — one that demands its own rigor, its own patience, and a willingness to work in complexity without a functional outcome as the measure of success. We've respected that distinction for a long time. This is us finally crossing into it.

We tested this one simply: no information, just noses. Men and women, blind. Both said they'd wear it. Those with the most refined botanical sensitivity responded almost exactly as the aromatic architecture intended — layer by layer, phase by phase. That told us what we needed to know.

Scent is personal. We won't tell you that you'll love it. What we can tell you is that the intention behind it is serious, the process was uncompromising, and this is only the beginning.

Lumière Composée™ is luminous restraint. A fragrance defined by presence, not projection.

This composition offers green clarity and resin depth. Conifers rise without sweetness. Florals remain lucid, never lush. The structure holds from first impression to final trace.

The Character

Lumière Composée is architectural rather than ornamental.

Its form is linear, composed, and deliberate. The materials are held in balance, with no dominant note and no decorative excess.

It does not evolve theatrically. It settles.

Worn close to the skin, it remains measured, steady, and coherent.

This extrait is defined less by formulation than by settlement.

Blended in 2021 and stored without intervention through 2025, the composition was left to resolve on its own terms—a traditional practice in classical perfumery where time completes what blending begins.

Nothing was added. Nothing was adjusted.

The result is coherence—a vertical, radiant composition worn close to the skin. Luminous without projection. Structured without rigidity. Present without display.

Extended, though variable. This extrait contains no synthetic fixatives or alcohol—only natural aromatic materials. Longevity depends on skin chemistry and preparation. For optimal wear, apply to clean skin at pulse points: behind the ears, inner wrists, or over the heart.

Application

One to two drops on pulse points.

This extrait is concentrated. Restraint is part of its design. Allow the composition to warm on skin before assessing.
