Purify™
Household Diffusion & Cleaning Blend · Aromatic Concentrate
2026 Summer Cabinet
There are rooms that simply need fresh air. There are others that ask for something stronger. Purify™ was composed for the latter.
During COVID, it became the most requested blend in the Ananda archive. Not because it was wonderfully pleasant, but because it was useful.
Clove Bud, Cinnamon Bark, Lemon, Wild Rosemary, and Eucalyptus Radiata. A spice backbone, quick citrus lift, and a dry herbal-eucalyptus body. Strong, direct, and not intended to disappear quietly into the room.
Many longtime customers order Purify™ alongside Super Immune™. They are not a set. Super Immune™ is a short, focused seasonal diffusion formula. Purify™ is for the wider household environment.
Overview
Purify™ is a concentrated aromatic blend for short, purposeful diffusion and properly prepared household formulas.
We keep it for kitchens, bathrooms, surfaces, entryways, guest rooms, offices, travel environments, and the periods when windows have remained closed for too long.
It is not a continuous room fragrance. Use it for the task, then stop and allow the room to settle.
The Formula
Clove Bud and Cinnamon Bark form the centre of Purify™. They give the blend its force, warmth, and persistence.
Lemon lifts that heavier spice structure and moves quickly through the room. Wild Rosemary adds a dry herbal edge. Eucalyptus Radiata keeps the composition open and prevents the spices from becoming dense.
Nothing here was chosen to make the formula more agreeable. Each material has work to do and combined they offer a nice aromatic.
Aromatic Profile
The opening is bright and immediate, with Lemon and Eucalyptus moving first. Rosemary follows—dry, green, and sharply herbal.
Clove and Cinnamon Bark remain underneath, warm and persistent. The finish is crisp, spicy, and unmistakably functional. Its presence recedes once diffusion stops.
How We Use It
- Diffuse intermittently in well-ventilated kitchens, bathrooms, entryways, guest rooms, offices, and other shared spaces.
- Use after guests, travel, cooking, closed-window periods, or heavy use of a room.
- Incorporate into an unscented cleaner or another properly formulated household base capable of dispersing essential oils evenly.
- Test finished household preparations on an inconspicuous area before using them on delicate finishes.
Essential oils do not remain dispersed in plain water. We do not add Purify™ to water alone and assume the preparation is properly formulated. Using a nebulizing diffuser is recommended for this blend.
Use it for a short period, then stop. More is not necessarily better with a blend this concentrated.
Ingredients
Clove Bud, Lemon, Wild Rosemary, Cinnamon Bark, and Eucalyptus Radiata essential oils.
Notes and Cautions
For diffusion and properly prepared household formulas. Not intended for topical application or ingestion.
Purify™ is not a registered disinfectant and should not replace an approved cleaner or disinfectant when disinfection is required.
Cinnamon Bark and Clove Bud are highly concentrated spice oils and may irritate or sensitize the skin. Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.
Not intended for use with children. Around animals, diffuse conservatively in a ventilated space and allow them to leave the room freely.
If pregnant, nursing, under medical care, or unusually sensitive to strong aromatic materials, consult a qualified professional before use. Discontinue use if irritation or discomfort occurs.
Essential oils are highly concentrated botanical materials. Please review Ananda’s Safety & Responsible Use guidelines before use.
Lineage Note
Purify™ comes from Ananda’s earlier formulation practice: choose the materials for what they contribute to the whole, then allow the aroma to be whatever the formula requires.
That is why the blend remains forceful. No perfume accord. No attempt to soften the spice backbone. It was made for practical household use, and its character follows from that purpose.
For the traditional-use context, constituent notes, research, and formulation logic behind the blend, see Purify™ Legacy Archive and Therapeutic Notes.
Availability and Sizes
Purify™ is offered in limited supply for the 2026 Summer Cabinet.
Available size: 10mL
Natural variation in aroma, colour, and viscosity may occur between harvests and distillation batches. These variations are normal characteristics of authentic botanical materials.
Further Study
For those interested, the studies below examine related essential-oil combinations, vapour-phase activity, and direct-contact laboratory testing relevant to the materials used in Purify™. They do not test Purify™, Ananda’s proportions, normal household diffusion, finished cleaning preparations, or real-world disinfection. Purify™ is not a registered disinfectant and should not replace an approved cleaner or disinfectant when disinfection is required.

This laboratory study examined a commercial essential-oil blend built from Rosemary, Lemon, Clove, Eucalyptus, and Cinnamon—the same five botanical categories used in Purify™. It characterized the mixture and evaluated antibacterial activity against selected Pseudomonas strains. Clove and Cinnamon were among the strongest individual oils tested. The study did not evaluate Purify™, household diffusion, surface cleaning, or disinfection under ordinary conditions.

This controlled laboratory study evaluated Cinnamon and Clove essential oils in the vapour phase against several bacterial species. Results varied according to organism and concentration, with synergistic, additive, and antagonistic interactions observed. The work supports the research relevance of Purify™’s spice backbone but does not establish efficacy in a room, consumer diffuser, or household-disinfection setting.

This direct-contact laboratory study evaluated Clove essential oil against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa under differing concentrations, temperatures, and levels of organic matter. Organic material reduced performance, underscoring the difference between laboratory activity and practical cleaning conditions. It did not test Purify™, a finished household cleaner, or an approved disinfectant protocol.
