Sun Radiance™ was created for skin exposed to sun, weather, and the ordinary environmental stress of daily life. This daily facial oil is built around a dense, multi-lipid architecture of antioxidant-rich botanical extracts, knowing that when light and skin interact, oxidative processes begin.
Because it is rich in carotenoid-bearing extracts, it may leave the skin faintly flushed for a few minutes while it absorbs. It has a lovely texture, a very mild aroma, and leaves the skin feeling softened and well conditioned.

Overview
Sun Radiance™ is the oil we reach for when the skin has been out in the world. The blend is rich in concentrated botanical extracts, yet light enough for regular use and mild enough to sit quietly beneath other skincare.
The ingredients are selected for their antioxidant content and their affinity with facial skin. It is can be used daily and also stands on its own as a general conditioning and anti-ageing facial oil.
This is a cosmetic facial oil, not a sunscreen.
Questions & Answers
Why choose Sun Radiance™ over plain rosehip or sea buckthorn oil?
A single botanical oil is an excellent thing, and we sell several. But used alone, the richest of them can be heavy, strongly coloured, or one-dimensional on the face. Sun Radiance™ sets Rosehip CO₂, Sea Buckthorn CO₂, and Carrot Root CO₂ extracts into a five-oil carrier base composed for spread, absorption, and finish—a balanced daily facial oil rather than a raw material.
Will the sea buckthorn and carrot root turn my skin orange or stain clothing?
These pigmented extracts give Sun Radiance™ its characteristic colour, but they are dispersed through the full carrier base, not applied neat. Used sparingly, it leaves a warm, conditioned finish—not an orange cast. Allow it to absorb before contact with pale collars or pillowcases.
Will it feel greasy or interfere with moisturizer, makeup, or sunscreen?
Not when used as intended—this is a concentrated oil, and a few drops are enough. Press a small amount onto slightly damp skin and let it settle before makeup or sunscreen. Use less in humid weather or on combination skin; in an evening routine, it works well as the final conditioning layer.
Is Sun Radiance™ a sunscreen, or a substitute for one?
No. Sun Radiance™ is a cosmetic facial oil. It has no SPF and provides no protection from UV exposure, and it should not replace sun protection of any kind. Its role is antioxidant-rich daily conditioning—worn comfortably alongside, not instead of, your usual sunscreen. It helps the skin respond better to exposure, not block it.
The Formula
Sun Radiance™ is a multi-lipid composition: several concentrated CO₂ extracts carried in a base of lighter facial oils, each contributing a different part of the antioxidant and skin-conditioning profile.
Rosehip CO₂ and Carrot Root CO₂ bring carotenoid-rich, deeply coloured extracts long valued in facial care. Sea Buckthorn CO₂ adds its distinctive palmitoleic-rich pulp profile and a further carotenoid fraction. Rosemary Antioxidant helps protect the lipid base against oxidation, and Sandalwood contributes a soft, woody-balsamic finish that settles the aroma.
The carrier base — argan, jojoba, raspberry seed, rosehip seed, and pomegranate — was chosen for texture, absorption, and its own fatty-acid and antioxidant contribution, giving the finished oil a light, conditioning feel rather than a heavy one.
Aromatic Profile
Mild, soft, and understated. A faint earthy warmth from the carotenoid extracts, rounded by the quiet woody note of Sandalwood.
The aroma stays close to the skin and is easily worn under other preparations.
Apply a small amount to clean facial skin, before and after time outdoors, or as part of a daily conditioning routine.
It layers well: it can be worn under or over another facial oil or moisturiser. A little is enough — the extracts are concentrated and deeply coloured, and a light application absorbs cleanly.
Because the carotenoid extracts are richly pigmented, the skin may look faintly flushed for a few minutes during absorption. Be mindful of it to absorb well into the skin before dressing for the day, or laying down at bedtime. Due to the concentrated and deeply coloured extracts, we've unintentionally stained a few fabrics.

Rosehip CO₂, Carrot Root CO₂, Sea Buckthorn CO₂, Rosemary Antioxidant, German Chamomile and Sandalwood.
In a base of argan, jojoba, raspberry seed, rosehip seed, and pomegranate carrier oils.
Character & Feel

Notes and Cautions
- For external use only. Apply only to intact skin.
- Do not use on open wounds, broken or blistered skin.
- Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.
- This is a cosmetic facial oil, not a sunscreen. It is not an SPF product and must not be relied upon for protection from ultraviolet exposure.
- Patch test before first use, particularly on sensitive or reactive skin.
Discontinue use if redness, itching, burning, or other irritation develops. - The richly pigmented extracts may temporarily tint very pale skin and may stain pale fabric.
- Safety of the finished formula during pregnancy, breastfeeding, and use in children has not been established. Consult a qualified healthcare practitioner before use in these groups.

Lineage Note
Sun Radiance™ was developed on a specific idea from Eric R. Cêch: that much of the skin's stress from daily light exposure begins as an oxidative cascade, and that a formula rich in antioxidant botanical oils could support the skin against it. He built the blend around oils and carriers selected for their antioxidant capacity, and used it himself as a daily conditioning oil.
